We now offer a Gutter Inspection Service whereby we will visit your property and using a pole based Camera Survey System we will inspect your Gutters for you to see whether they need clearing or not and will be able to provide photographic or video evidence of what we do find. This Saves You booking a Full Gutter Clearing Service which you may not necessarily need !!
We will make a one off service charge fee of £30.00 for this. Should you then decide that you do wish to proceed with a gutter clearance service we will then deduct the inspection fee charge from your bill.

Regular Gutter Clearing – Is It That Important?
Yes it actually is. A properly cleaned and maintained gutter is essential in preventing potential damage to structures and, sometimes, the interior of buildings.
Gutters are fitted as standard to properties to functionally carry rainwater away from the roof and guide it safely away from the building. It may not be at the forefront of most property owner’s mind until long term damage appears. Clogged and blocked gutters can lead to expensive repairs, so regular maintenance is essential.
Whichever gutter type the property has; plastic, cast iron, or steel, annual maintenance ensures they are clear of any debris and water is free flowing helping to reduce long-term damage.
What Causes Blocked Gutters?
Throughout the year, gutterings suffer from a build-up of various types of natural vegetation, including leaves, pine needles, moss, and grass. Birds also carry and drop seeds, leaves blown through the air by winds often fall onto roof tops, where they can then settle and collect inside of gutters and downpipes, thus building up and eventually causing blockages.
Moss really is a particular problem for blocking gutters. Properties in the shade of trees or those that are north facing naturally have less light and is the perfect breeding ground for moss as it flourishes in damp and shaded environments.
Damp vegetation within the gutter provides an ideal breeding ground for moss and weeds. They can grow aggressively and the weeds will block the flow of water through the gutter, eventually causing an overflow. Ensuring gutters are clear before the winter months prevents further damage caused by snow or ice.
Above the guttering, moss is like a sponge on your roof, whilst absorbing moisture it prohibits the roof from being able to dry. This constant source of dampness can seep through the tiles, which will eventually cause damage to the property. We have invested in our professional equipment from Gutter Vacuum Systems so that we can safely inspect, diagnose the issues and clear your gutters, without danger, safely from the ground with minimal to no disruption for you, the property owner.
Our high powered gutter vacuum system allows us to clear gutters that are otherwise inaccessible and with our series of GVS poles, we can safely reach over conservatories, extensions or garages from your standard size domestic property to four storey across domestic, commercial and some industrial clears too.
There are times however when, even with the Gutter Vacuum System, we still need to access the gutters by using conventional ladders. We take great care in using the relevant safety systems so that we can do this in a safe and appropriate way.

Blockages or repair work will be charged at £1.00 per minute plus materials, if needed, although we would advise you of these charges before commencing any work.
Any Other Properties OUTSIDE OF THE DARK BLUE AREA ON THE MAP will be priced individually following either a site survey or a telephone consultation.

We also provide a cleaning service for the external sides of UPVC Gutters, Fascias, Downpipes and Window Frames, if required.
Either in conjunction with Gutter Clearing or as a service in its own right.
We use a Soft Washing technique where we use very low pressure water alongside suitable surfactants and degreasers to restore them
back to a suitably clean standard.
PRICING
We price this work as a service at £4.00 per linear metre to include all materials.
HOWEVER AS AN OFFER WE WOULD PRICE THIS AT £2.00 PER LINEAR METRE IF THIS IS CARRIED OUT AT THE SAME TIME AS A GUTTER CLEANING SERVICE.
